We have the capacity to develop full collections and produce styles from sketches to garments on a strict deadline. We proudly make garments by hand out of our New York City factory in the same way we have for generations. A team of talented pattern makers and tailors are on hand to create and fit muslins and develop custom patterns. Our experienced craftsmen have years of knowledge of all types of fur as well as fabrics.
Pologeorgis is the only US manufacturer with the ability to custom dye furs and shearlings. We carry a vast inventory of furs such as minks, sables and foxes, as well as all types of shearlings. We work with Loro Piana cashmere, Storm System fabrics, and we can make fully reversible and fur lined garments and trims. Our finishers expertly make double face cashmere styles. Our atelier is also experienced with bead work and hand embroidery.

Pologeorgis is at the forefront of sustainable fur fashion, featuring carefully reworked luxury garments and home decor. At Pologeorgis, we make an effort to eliminate waste by creating new designs through patchwork. In this process, styles are made by reusing fur materials leftover in the production of other garments in previous collections.
Pologeorgis uses FurMark, the international mark of responsible and sustainable natural fur, and SAGA Furs, which uses certified pelts with traceability throughout its supply chain. Each garment carries a label which certifies where it was made and the materials used. We want our customers to know where their garment came from, the process of how it was made, and who made it.

Over a long history in the luxury sector, we have worked with top designers starting with Pierre Balmain in the 1960s. Since then, Pologeorgis has collaborated with designers such as Michael Kors, Zac Posen, Zandra Rhodes, Tory Burch, Derek Lam, Monse, Wes Gordon, Victor Glemaud, Proenza Schouler, Aerin, Tse, Theory, Thom Browne, Carolina Herrera and Alexander Wang, as well as Couture collections by Ralph Rucci.
We have developed private label collections for top retailers worldwide including Barneys, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and Nordstrom. We have also created home décor, such as custom fur blankets and pillows, for top interior designers.
Pologeorgis also specializes in custom work for editorial/print projects, advertising, and television and film projects.
